    Light headed like kind of dizzy but not.. Head aches, sore neck. Weird vision like I'm in a dream but the one that got me the most was mucus in my throat( some days I'm caughing it up constantly but when I'm pre occupied it goes away) so bad it was causing a weird like tight throat feeling like someone's hands were around my neck I spent most of last year trying to figure out what was wrong scans, blood tests, naturopaths, psychologists & doctors!!!!!! weird thing is the symptoms all take turns when one goes away another appears & gets me thinking something else is wrong!!! Took me 2 years to work out all my symptoms were stress related. It's still fcks with my head but I'm slowly learning to control my thoughts!!!

    Thanks for the video! Today I was shaving my beard and felt a little bump on my neck (not visible to see) and I immediately started to worry and booked a GP appointment. I'm pretty sure that I've felt it when I was younger but didn't even flinch at the time... but now that I'm 32 I've suddenly developed a state of concern around my health... sad really. If I'm like this at my age with no chronic illnesses and generally fit and healthy, I can't imagine what other people must be going through. I wish all of you good health and patience 🙏

    I'm dealing with twitches. A lot of them. I am dealing with a lot of anxiety over real things and do have atrophy in one hand that I have to wait until next month to find out what it is via an EMG, ordered by the orthopedic doctor, but my neurologist doesn't think it's ALS. My father has essential tremor and now I'm worried about that as well. I am just trying to tell myself that this is anxiety. I then got worried about atrophy in my right hand and my physical therapist assured me that she doesn't see it. That my hands are thin and she showed me her dent as well. I just have it in one hand.

    Thank you. I have to wait until next month to get more bloodwork and imaging and nerve tests and I'm very anxious. This all makes perfect sense. I never felt supported by my family and I know that it is making it harder for me. It's that sense of threat.

    this makes me feel way better about my symptoms, but one symptom that still gets to me is my skin. Im having really pale skin for the last couple of days and I can see veins that I couldn't see before everywhere on my body and they are soo dark colored. It scares tf out of me. Anybody got this?

    In addition to working on behaviors, i think a lot of HA and catastrophizing goes back to childhood trauma (or just a cumulation of toxic stress) that leaves our brain conditioned to excessive worry. The physical symptoms themselves, though not serious, are hardwired from learned neuro pathways. Brain thinks its doing us a favour. But we are safe. Recommend looking at mind-body syndrome treatments like somatic work and emotional release (eg journalling) in addition to working on behaviors and thoughts.

  • @casario2808
    @casario2808 22 години тому

    Problem solving is the heart of the issue for me. Stepping back and noticing and naming "im catastrophizing" helps. Making a hard rule of not googling is essential...but dont beat yourself up if you do. Self compassion is key because HA sucks

    The heart palpitations that then cause me to break out in a sweat, it’s even woke me up in the middle of sleeping. My digestion was hit hard, bloating after eating the smallest amount of food, even getting soreness on the left side of my core bar my ribs. It’s been getting better but I still am dealing with a little of this entire list

    I check mine at least 50 times a day and do the ekg in Apple Watch. My cardiophobia has been ridiculous lately. I had myocarditis 12 years ago and for 12 years, even though I get checked every year still worry about falling out. It’s exhausting 😢

    Great video. I also wanted to say that being around people that you know will interrupt you while your talking can cause this also. Its almost like knowing your going to get an electric shock but you just don't know when its coming. I would talk to my mother and she would just CUT IN on my sentence~ She does have narcissistic personality so that doesn't help.

  • @clareparfitt8908

    It's false and misleading to say that everyone can get used to them. Its a physical issue and changing your outlook, mental health, anxiety etc can not always make you forget about giant grotesque insects in your vision! I suffered for 2 years and they were constant torture. I saw mine every minute of every day except in the dark or when I was sleeping. Mine actually blocked my vision and were completely opaque blobs, making it hard to read, work on my computer, and drive. I had degenerative myopic vitreopathy which gets worse and worse. The ONLY thing that worked was vitrectomy surgery. I know many people on an online group who have had them for 10 years or more, and they are not able to get used to them either. Good for you if you can but that is not always possible. And NO, the social media groups helped me immensely and I found others who understood. I already had cataract surgery and natural posterior vitreous detachment, so I was a good candidate for surgery. Someone should NOT suffer from this horrible scourge and be told that your outlook will make you not notice them or they will go away naturally if you can't get used to them. Surgery is a 100% cure.

    Thank you. My anxiety is so bad. I have to stay busy every minute of every day to deal with it…but when I lay down at night, it all hits me. I’ve been this way for 36 yrs, I can remember having anxiety as a 5 yr old and it developed into hypochondria as an adult…it’s worse sense I had kids and the fear of “not being able to raise them” has been so strong in my mind…but they are 6 and 11 now and I’m still here. Just gotta keep on keeping on I guess. Some days are just harder than other. I hope it’s just BFS.

    Dependent on the person, some lymphnodes in certain areas of the body can be felt, for example most ppl can feel them in their groin area and under their chin around the Jaw line, those are considered superficial, it is important to note though that if you *know* for a *fact* that one wasn't possible to feel before but all of a sudden it is now then something is possibly wrong inside the body! But before you run to the hospital give it 2-4 weeks, if its not decreasing in size or if its getting larger then yes! Make that trip!

    I am watching this because I have twitching in my chin for 4 days now, it's pretty much constant and it's freaking me out! It feel like I can never rest and it's kind of worse because it's on my face. Of course, when I googled it, I managed to find two ladies who had exact same twitching on chin as me who were diagnosed with als. Now, I didn't know that could be a symptom, and I am scared even more. I am going straight into benzodiazepam addiction because I can't relax and I feel scared all the time.
